Music and Arts Therapy Center Plans Made for Birmingham!

Development is underway for a new "Center for Music and Arts Therapy for people with disabilities," to be located in the Birmingham area.  The center will serve children and adults with disabilities on site where applicable and in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice situations to clients off site. 

Some of the disability groups we have identified that will benefit are those suffering with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Veterans with combat related injuries, and shut-ins under hospice care.  The Board of Directors is being nominated now and the capital needs campaign is underway.   Click here to donate or contact Paul Hammond, Executive Director at 205-966-0665 or 866-935-3005.  VISA and Mastercard Credit or Debit accepted as well as American Express and Discover.  All contributions are tax deductible. Who are we and what do we do?         

Piano by Paul Productions, Inc. is a not for profit corporation whose mission is to enhance the lives of others through music.  Research shows that many with various disabilities benefit greatly through music and music therapy.  Piano by Paul funds music therapy for  autistic children; provides a school of music for typical children and children with autism; produces music recordings; provides music recording consultation; and, plans have been made for full scale musical productions in the near future.  

Piano by Paul is tax exempt from Federal income tax under sect. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.  Contributions may be made at the On line Store. Funding for Piano by Paul Productions, Inc. comes music lessons fees, weddings, receptions, bird hunts, golf tournaments, bass tournaments,  events, individual and corporate contributions and grants.     

We are working to fulfill our budget requirements for the year 2010.
